Our client, a mission-driven, Boston-based nonprofit is seeking an HR Generalist to support their department. In this Generalist role you will serve as part of a strong Human Resources team supporting agency operations with numerous significant responsibilities.
o Work with all operations leadership on performance management, coaching of line and leadership staff, professional development and training to ensure staff are given opportunities to develop professionally. Review and analyze retention and turnover data, compile reports and create strategies for retention and employee satisfaction.
o Support employee relations concerns and investigations, consulting with the Assistant HR Director, operations, and legal as needed.
o Work to support the over-all team goals in developing a best-in – class HR team. This will include Ad Hoc project work, supporting hiring efforts, and other key HR goals.
o Three or more years’ experience providing professional development support and training as part of an HR team.
o Two or more years’ s, experience resolving employee relations’ concerns.
o Highly organized, with good problem solving skills and ability to pay attention to details.
o Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills; with strong data processing tools.
o Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an outcomes oriented department .
o Friendly, personable demeanor and a solutions oriented outlook on problem solving.
o Bachelor’ s Degree in HR is preferred.
